What will the real estate market do as we get closer to the presidential election? Tyler used to be a futures trader in Chicago, and basic market 101 principles tell us that markets do not like uncertainty. When things are uncertain, markets tend to seize up. If you’re considering selling your home, get it on the market now. So far, there doesn’t seem to be a clear leading candidate, and that will present the market with an even higher degree of uncertainty. If you need to move quickly, be aware that the election will slow things down.
